A complaint was filed against
Carlos Ermocilla, M.D., charging him with a violation of NRS 630.301(4), for
failing to use the reasonable knowledge, skill and expertise ordinarily used
in similar circumstances when he failed to recognize the patient was acutely
ill and seek emergency medical care for her until she had gone in cardiac
arrest. |

The Board found that Dr. Ermocilla
violated NRS 630.301(4) and ordered that he be publicly reprimanded and shall
reimburse the Board the reasonable costs and expenses incurred in the
investigation and prosecution of this case in the amount of $9,351.29 within 60
days. |
