FORMAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN BY THE BOARD: JANUARY 30, 1998 ******************************************************************** The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against Dr. Baig alleging that he was aiding, assisting, employing or advising any unlicensed person to engage in the practice of medicine in the state of Nevada, and that he signed blank prescription forms and gave those forms to an unlicensed person. Copies; Complaint 14 pages MAY 20, 1998 Dr. Baig signed and the Board accepted a stipulation for settlement. It was ordered that Dr. Baig receive a public reprimand, complete an additional 10 CME hours in ethics, pay $15,000 administrative expenses, his license was revoked and the revocation was stayed, he was placed on probation for 3 years with terms and conditions. Copies; Settlement 5 pages, Order 4 pages JUNE 12, 2001 Dr. Baig successfully completed his probation and all terms and conditions imposed by the Order of the Board. He is removed from probationary status and restored to a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
