The Investigative Committee of the Board filed a formal complaint
against Dr. Conte for his conviction on 19 February 2003 in the Ninth
Judicial District Court of Nevada In and For the County of Douglas,
of two felony counts: Second Degree Kidnapping, a violation of NRS
200.310, 200.330 and 193.165; and Unlawful Administering of a Controlled
Substance, a violation of NRS 453.321 and 453.381, both of which violate
NRS 630.301 (1).

May 1, 2003, Richard Conte agreed to a Stipulation for Settlement with the
Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners whereby Responent Surrenders
his License to Practice Medicine While Under Investigation, and Submits
a Voluntary Surrender of License To Practice Medicine In The State Of Nevada
While Under Investigation.

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners approved the Stipulation for
Settlement, and the ORDER was entered whereby: It is ORDERED as follows:
That the irrevocable surrender of the license to practice medicine in the state
of Nevada, while under investigation, of Richard R. Conte, M.D., license
No. 5852, is accepted by the Board 31 May 2003.
