FORMAL DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN BY THE NEVADA STATE

SEPTEMBER 30, 1987
Dr. Adamson entered into a Stipulation with the Investigative
Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners
and it was ordered that he enter into a contract with the
Impaired Physician's Committee for seven years, he will be
ordered to provide the board with random urinalyses, he will
provide the IC with status reports of his treatment and progress,
and he shall not prescribe any controlled substances until the
successful completion of his contract.

DECEMBER 14, 1987
The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint
against Dr. Adamson alleging that he is dependent on controlled
substances, and he is unable to practice medicine with reasonable
skill and safety.

The Board ordered that Dr. Adamson's license in the state of Nevada
be revoked, the revocation stayed and he be placed on probation for
7 years, he will enter into contract with the Impaired Physician's

substances.

Ridgeview Treatment Program in the state of Georgia or a
comparable treatment program for substance abuse treatment.

medical license as he has relapsed in his treatment and recovery and is

The Board ordered that Dr. Adamson's license to practice medicine in
the state of Nevada be revoked, the revocation stayed and he be
placed on probation for 10 years, he shall enter into contract with
the Northern Nevada Physicians' Aid Committee for 10 years, he
shall work in a board approved urban area, shall pay for all
administrative costs and lab testing, pay a fine of $2,500.00, and he
shall not dispense any controlled substances.

The Board ordered to Summarily Suspend Dr. Adamson's license
to practice medicine in the state of Nevada pending proceedings
because he was working in an area not approved by the Board,
