The Investigative Committee of
the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against
Dr. Publicover for failure to diagnose and/or treat the patient for a
ruptured dissecting aortic aneurysm. |

|
The Nevada State Board of Medical
Examiners entered Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order, whereby, Dr.
Publicover was found guilty of one count of malpractice for failure to use the
reasonable care, skill or knowledge ordinarily used under similar circumstances
in the treatment of a patient, a violation of NRS 630.301(4). Dr. Publicover was
issued a public reprimand and shall reimburse the Board the costs and expenses
incurred in the investigation and prosecution of the matter in the amount of
$15,521.80, within one-hundred and twenty days (120) of the date of entry of the
Board's Order. |
