The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against Dr. Goring alleging substandard medical care rendered to a 53-year-old patient receiving Lithium therapy.
 
12/02/2005
The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners approved the Stipulation of Settlement of its complaint against DR. Goring, wherein Dr. Goring admitted to one count malpractice relating to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of 
a patient, a violation of NRS 630.301(4), and was ordered, at her own expense, to attend within one year of the approval of this agreement by the Board, ten (10) hours of continuing medical education specifically on the issue of psychotropic medications, in addition to any other continuing medical education required as a condition of licensure in Nevada; and the continuing medical education must be approved by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee. In addition, Dr. Goring was ordered to pay $2,264.61 for administrative costs, due within 90 days of the Board's order.
