The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical
Examiners summarily suspended Dr. Fazekas' medical license until further order of
the Investigative Committee or the Board. |

The Investigative Committee of the
Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against Dr.
Fazekas, charging him with two violations of NRS 630.301(5), for engaging in any
sexual activity with a patient whom he was treating; two violations of NRS
630.301(6), for disruptive behavior with physicians, hospital personnel,
patients, members of families of patients or any other persons if the behavior
interferes with patient care or has an adverse impact on the quality of care
rendered to a patient; and one violation of NRS 630.301(9), for engaging in
conduct that brings the medical profession into disrepute. |
