The Board summarily suspended Dr.
Fani-Salek's medical license indefinitely pending a hearing on the complaint
filed against Dr. Fani-Salek alleging he violated NRS 630.304(1), for
obtaining, maintaining or renewing or attempting to obtain, maintain or
renew a license to practice medicine by bribery, fraud or misrepresentation
or by any false, misleading, inaccurate or incomplete statement. |

The Nevada State Board of Medical
Examiners entered a Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order whereby
Mohammad Fani-Salek, M.D. was found guilty of violating NRS 630.304(1), i.e.,
for obtaining a license to practice medicine by fraud, misrepresentation or by
false, misleading inaccurate or incomplete statements. The Board ordered that
Dr. Fani-Salek's license to practice medicine in the state of Nevada was to be
revoked, that he pay a fine in the amount of $5,000.00 within ninety (90) days
of the order and that he pay $10,645.54 for administrative costs due within
ninety (90) days of the order. |
