The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against Gregory Bryan, M.D. for alleged substandard medical care rendered to patients A-E, as per Count I (violation of NRS 630.301(4)). Dr. Bryan allegedly violated Section 630.301 of the Nevada Revised Statutes by failing to use reasonable care, skill, or knowledge ordinarily used under similar circumstances. As per Count II, Dr. Bryan allegedly violated Section 630.3062(1) of the Nevada Revised Statutes by failing to maintain timely legible, accurate and complete medical records relating to the diagnosis, treatment and care of a patient. As per Count III, Dr. Bryan allegedly violated Section 454.213(1) of the Nevada Revised Statutes by administering a dangerous drug that was not FDA approved. As per Count IV, Dr. Bryan allegedly violated Section 630.230(1)(j), of the Nevada Administrative Code by failing to provide adequate supervision of a PA.

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners approved and accepted a Settlement Agreement whereby Dr. Bryan, by not contesting, hereby agreed, that an order may be entered herein by the Board finding that Dr. Bryan engaged in conduct that is grounds for discipline pursuant to the Medical Practice Act to wit: one count of failing to administer a drug except as authorized by law when he administered a drug not approved for human use, specifically botulinum toxin type A, and one failing to provide adequate supervision of a physician assistant when he allowed a physician assistant to also administer a drug in a manner not authorized by law, and that he shall be placed on twelve (12) months of probation with the following conditions: 
1) Dr. Bryan shall not personally use any injected cosmetic substance on himself or others during the probationary period nor shall he personally prescribe cosmetic substances for his patients;
2) Dr. Bryan shall complete six (6) hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) on the topic of charting and ethics, to be pre-approved by the Investigative Committee Chair and to be completed within the probationary period. Said CME shall be in addition to any other continuing medical education required as a condition of licensure; and
3) Dr. Bryan shall pay a fine of $1000, to be paid within one hundred eighty (180) days of the acceptance, adoption and approval of this Agreement by the Board.
4) If Dr. Bryan fails to meet any of the terms of his probation, his license to practice medicine shall be suspended for thirty (30) days.
Dr. Bryan also agrees to reimburse the Board the reasonable costs and expenses incurred in the investigation and prosecution of the case within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the acceptance, adoption and approval of the Settlement Agreement by the Board. Furthermore, counts I and II of the complaint shall be dismissed.
