DOYLE STUART STEELE, M.D.

JUNE 30, 2005

A complaint was filed against Dr. Steele alleging he committed malpractice in his
prescribing controlled substances to patients A, B and C; that Dr. Steele practiced
beyond his scope in his prescribing controlled substances for patient B;
that Dr. Steele failed to maintain accurate, timely, complete or legible medical
records in his treatment and prescribing of controlled substances to Patients A, B and C; 
that Dr. Steele administered, dispensed or prescribed controlled substances to others
except as authorized by law; and that Dr. Steele engaged in a sexual relationship
with Patient C during the time he treated her as a patient by writing controlled
substance prescriptions for her.

 

JUNE 30, 2005

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, in an Emergency Meeting on
June 30, 2005, summarily suspended Dr. Steele's license to practice medicine in Nevada pending the outcome of disciplinary proceedings against him.

NOVEMBER 30, 2007

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners concluded Doyle Steele, M.D., violated NRS 630.301(1) and NRS 630.301(11)(f), as set forth in the complaint against him as a result of his conviction under U.S.C.A. 21:841(a)(6) and 846. Dr. Steele's license as a physician in the State of Nevada was revoked.
