OCTOBER 1, 1993
The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of
Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against
Dr. Meisenheimer alleging gross malpractice and violating
the regulations adopted by the Nevada State Board of
Pharmacy.
JUNE 19, 1994
The Board entered into a Stipulation for Settlement with
Dr. Meisenheimer and it was ordered that he complete 20
additional hours of CME in the field of medical care of the
elderly, geriatrics, or gerontology.
AUGUST 11, 1995
The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board
of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against
Dr. Meisenheimer alleging the he was charging for services
not rendered.
NOVEMBER 3, 1995
The Board entered into a Stipulation for Settlement with
Dr. Meisenheimer and it was ordered that he complete a
rating for the Federal District Court hearing the global
breast implant litigation for Patient numbers 1-40 of the
Complaint and pay $2,000 to cover administrative and
investigative costs incurred by the Board.
JANUARY 11, 1996
The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of
Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against
Dr. Meisenheimer alleging willful failure to comply with an
order of the Board, failure to complete a rating for the Federal
District Court litigation as stated in the November 3, 1995 Order.
APRIL 4, 1996
The Board Ordered that Dr. Meisenheimer be suspended
from practice for 30 days, April 6, 1996 through May 6, 1996,
pay a $2,000 fine, pay $2,000 to cover administrative costs,
and complete 40 hours of community service without
compensation.
JULY 1, 1996
The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board
of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against
Dr. Meisenheimer alleging willful failure to comply with a
Board Order.
SEPTEMBER 30, 1996
The Board Ordered the Dr. Meisenheimer receive a public
written reprimand and that he perform 40 hours of community
service.
