DAVID GLENN EVANS, M.D.

DECEMBER 23, 2004

The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed a formal complaint against Dr. Evans alleging he engaged in conduct that brings the medical profession into disrepute, a violation of NRS 630.301(9).  The complaint arose from Dr. Evans' arrest by Las Vegas Metro and his being charged with four counts of sexual assault on a victim under 14, ten counts of lewdness with a minor, three counts of use of a minor in production of pornography, and two counts of open and gross lewdness. 

DECEMBER 28, 2004
The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners held an Emergency Meeting and voted to summarily suspend the license of David Glenn Evans, M.D., as it was found that Dr. Evans posed a risk to the health, safety and welfare of the public, and pediatric patients in particular.

JANUARY 31, 2007
The Investigative Committee of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners filed an Amended Complaint against David Glenn Evans, M.D. for being convicted of a felony relating to the practice of medicine or the ability to practice medicine in that he is a convicted sex offender, a violation of NRS 630.301(1), as per Count I. As per Count II, Dr. Evans has been convicted of two counts of felony sexual assault against minors under the age of 14, a violation of NRS 630.301(11)(d). 

SEPTEMBER 14, 2007

The Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners entered its Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order, finding that David Glenn Evans, M.D. violated NRS 630.301(1) and NRS 630.301(11)(g). These violations are a result of his conviction under NRS 200.364, whereby Respondent pled guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a minor under 14 years of age. The Board revoked Dr. Evans' license to practice medicine in Nevada.
